The Rail Easy Cable Sleeve is made to protect your wood post from chafing and incidental damage from cable rubbing around the outside of your mid post cable holes. The outside diameter of the Cable Sleeve is 1/4 inch and requires a 1/4 drilled hole, this should provide a tight fit. The inside diameter is 7/32 which gives the cable a total 1/16" clearance.
